Off Road Bikes, Liverton Mines

A meeting and walk about was held in Liverton Mines this morning with Redcar and Cleveland Council Representatives, Police and residents to discuss the ongoing issue of off road bikes being ridden around the village and the grassed / woodland area. Areas were looked at and consideration will be given by Redcar and Cleveland Council in regards to placement of target hardening measures in order to restrict access points.

Please assist the Police in taking further action by reporting every sighting on 101 at the time it is happening and providing information in regards to who is responsible and where the bikes are being stored.

These bikes are not only being ridden illegally but also pose a safety risk to the driver and other road users / pedestrians.
